VH1 preparó un Q&A en Twitter con
Robin Thicke para promocionar su último disco, Paula. Pero lo que debía ser un
encuentro virtual con sus fans, se ha convertido en un desastre en el que, bajo
el hashtag #AskThicke, podían leerse todo tipo de insultos al cantante, sobre
todo en referencia a su hit Blurred Lines y su vídeo. Robin pudo leer
comentarios en los que lo tachaban de misógino y de fomentar la
violación, entre otras cosas.
Algunas de las frases que le dirigieron
en Twitter fueron “No hay necesidad de preguntar a Thicke. Sabes que quiere” o “¿Escribirá
Pharrell las mejores respuestas por ti?”. Otras fueron más agresivas y decían “¿Te
puedo pegar en la cara? ¿No? ¿Quieres decir sí, verdad? Sabes que lo quieres”.
En una directamente le preguntaron: “¿Cómo te sientes al ser la personificación de una
crisis de mediana edad?”.
A pesar de todos los comentarios
negativos, Robin siguió adelante con el Q&A e incluso afirmó: “Soy un
hombre adulto. Puedo arreglármelas”. Cuándo le preguntaron por la controversia
de Blurred Lines, directamente dijo “¿Qué controversia? Jajaja”.
